Recharging Vehicle A/C

I figure we all like to learn shit. So, here's how you recharge your A/C. Almost as easy as putting air in your tire. It's Fairly simple. See the tools needed below. The A/C refrigerant shouldnt be more than 20$ and if you get one with one of those handy dandy spickets it's around 45$ but you can reuse those spickets on most A/C refrigerant cans by screwing it into the top The next thing you need to do is locate your low pressure valve. Dont panic. The doohickie that pumps the refrigerant into your A/C system should only fit one of them. So, you cant really mess this up. It should look something like this.. (middle of picture black cap on silver pipe) Now once you've found your valve you just need to put your spicket onto the valve. Again, it shouldnt be able to fit on the high pressure valve so you should be ok if you try to put it on that one. Try again. When it goes on it looks some thing like this... Now, when you are setup in this fashion turn your car on and make sure you are blasting your A/C at maxium. Then, shake your can of refrigerant and squeeze the trigger. Your gunna have to keep shaking it and holding it upside down for it to go into the pipe. Watch your meter as you are pumping refrigerant. You dont want to get into the red. It will be to much pressure on your A/C system. Feel free to get it right close to the red but dont go over. Your meter should look something like this.. Side note, if you are really low or you have barely no A/C it usually take a couple cans to fill you back up. Once you're finished remove your spicket and lookie there your A/C is as good as new! Congrats. Here's a good Merle Haggard song to get you through charging your A/C

Whiskey Lullaby

When I'm feeling down and want to go a bit lower I listen to this song. Always a good idea to have a drink or 5 on hand when listening.

Luckenback, Texas

Let's get this ordeal going on a good foot. Here's Waylon with one of my favorite tunes.
